Straight Oil

Straight oil is a pure oil-based coolant that does not contain water or emulsifiers and is used directly for processing: poor cooling performance and excellent lubrication performance.

Advantages

● Excellent lubrication ability and extended tool life.

● Reduce surface friction and improve processing surface quality.

● It is not easy to volatilize, and less maintenance is required.

Disadvantages

● Poor cooling, not suitable for high-speed or high-heat processing.

● It has a certain degree of flammability and requires safety management.

● A large amount of smoke and odor may be generated during processing.

Application

It is ideal for high-load operations, including precision grinding, gear processing, and thread cutting. Processing titanium alloys and stainless steel is also frequently used.
